Dealing with the Technocracy in 2019. Lem Postok enters ATIM's full-time virtual reality network. We see the simple interview and laser process to create a computer-resident avatar profile. Lem disappears from the real world and LittleLem appears inside ATIM. We watch LittleLem generate and interact with his clones. They experience human life inside ATIM as SimFants, simulated fantasies. LittleLem learns how to distinguish inside from outside. He contacts a compassionate tech who helps him return Humanside, where he reunites with his estranged girlfriend, Michelle. Beware the advent of ATIM - you may not be as lucky as Lem!
